Sanjay Nasta
Chief Executive Officer
Sanjay Nasta founded Microassist in 1988 and serves as its CEO. He has an extensive background in technology application and learning and development. Combining that background with Microassist’s “RAISE” company values (Relationships, Achievement, Integrity, Stability, Expertise) is central to his vision for serving Microassist customers: His team’s focus on developing customers’ employees and harnessing information technology tools to solve customer business challenges.
Mr. Nasta has led many enterprise-scale training and application development projects. He is particularly proud of Microassist’s application development work with the Texas Department of Public Safety Crime Records Service Public and Secure websites project — the first time a cost-recovery-based approach was implemented at the State of Texas.
He is also proud of the community impact made through many of Microassist’s outreach training projects, which materially improve the lives of millions. Our team has provided training on specific issues for children, deployed soldiers, prevention of transmission of the HIV virus to newborns, and increasing the rate of vaccinations. Mr. Nasta drove strategic partnerships with key partners to allow Microassist to participate in these statewide rollouts of technology and their associated training initiatives.
Mr. Nasta is a founding member of the Elearning Council and serves on the Elearning Council Advisory Board. He is a frequent speaker and panelist at industry conferences such as DEMO, ATD, and the Elearning Symposium. His passion for promoting learning extends to other service opportunities, including serving as Learning Chair for Entrepreneurs’ Organization.
Mr. Nasta serves on the board and education committee of the Casoro Group Education Foundation (CGEF). CGEF is a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiative that focuses on closing the generational wealth gap and increasing diversity in the commercial real estate industry through education, experience, and opportunities. He also serves on the board of Pratham Austin, which has the mission of improving the quality of education in India and ensuring that all children in India attend and thrive in school.
Mr. Nasta graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in engineering.
