Lena Wood
IT Services and Infrastructure
Since 1998, Lena Wood has been responsible for the IT Services division of Microassist. While she manages our security and backup, her major responsibilities have involved managing change. She has moved Microassist from token ring topology to Ethernet, and now to gigabyte network infrastructure. She has also moved our network from Novell to Windows NT, and now to Windows active directory.
Microassist is a Microsoft partner, and Lena manages that relationship. As a testament to the expertise she holds in her field, Lena is a MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert), MCPS (Microsoft Certified Product Specialist), and a MCNPS (Microsoft Certified Network Product Specialist). She has played a crucial part in the infrastructure design of all of Microassist’s projects.
Lena is a graduate of St. Edward’s University with degree in Computer Science.
