Jack McElaney
VP of Sales and Marketing
Jack McElaney is Microassist’s vice president of sales and marketing. He is responsible for developing and executing the company’s sales and marketing strategy. Jack helps spearhead the focus on Microassist’s products and services related to digital accessibility and consulting, elearning, application development, and classroom training within the corporate, government, and education markets.
In addition, he is focused on exploring new markets, product offerings, and partnerships. Jack’s experience with information providers and consulting companies, combined with his sales, marketing, and operations experience, helps provide Microassist clients with a very detailed, consultative approach toward solving their challenges and creating new opportunities.
In addition to his sales and marketing roles at Microassist, Jack is also the curator of Microassist’s Accessibility in the News-a weekly curated newsletter that is widely read in the digital accessibility field.
Jack has held executive management roles at two Thomson Reuters companies, RIA Group/WG&L and Sheshunoff Information Services, where he successfully led diverse sales, marketing, and client services teams that sold banking, accounting, tax, human resources, legal, and information technology products and services. At Sheshunoff Consulting & Solutions, a boutique financial services consulting firm, he played an instrumental role in reshaping and rightsizing the company and in the divestiture of three divisions, which led to significantly improved profitability. He has had diverse experience with startups in executive recruitment, contact centers, and digital strategy, in addition to providing management consulting to many companies.
Jack is originally from Boston, MA, and graduated from Northeastern University with a bachelor’s of science degree in marketing.
